Infectious Disease Services (HIV/AIDS)

Florida Department of Health in Lake County Specialty Care HIV/AIDS Section

Sexually transmitted disease testing, case management, counseling, and treatment services are provided. Confidential HIV/AIDS testing and treatment, HIV nutritional counseling, prescription medications, and vitamins are also available.

The Specialty Care Clinic - HIV/AIDS Section provides services and treatment for prevention and people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWH). Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Confidential testing
  • Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP)
  • HIV/AIDS treatment and counseling
  • Prescription assistance through the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP)
  • Surveillance and Partner Notification

Services through Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) for eligible PLWH include, but are not limited to:

  • Case Management
  • Peer Mentoring
  • Early Intervention (Counseling and Testing)
  • Housing,
  • Dental Care
  • Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services
  • Medical Nutritional Therapy
  • Transportation
  • Food Bank Services
  • Ambulatory Outpatient Care
    • Primary Care and Specialty Care Services
  • ADAP
  • Insurance Support Services
