DOH-LAKE COVID-19 Immunization SITES UPDATE for 1/02/2021

Eustis, FL. – All Florida Department of Health in Lake County (DOH-Lake) COVID-19 immunizations sites will be closed tomorrow, Sunday, January 3, 2021 and we may have a 1 p.m. opening on Monday, January 4, 2021 if the vaccines arrive. Otherwise the site will be closed on Monday as well.
There will be an updated press release late Monday morning if the sites will be opening Monday afternoon.
We are now awaiting on our second shipment of COVID-19 vaccines expected to arrive early next week. Information will be shared with the public as it becomes available.
As reminder, DOH-Lake drive-thru immunization sites will be operating on a first-come, first-serve basis, for residents and non-residents, subject to availability and no appointments will be required.
If you have been on a blood thinners for less than a year or have had recent heart related surgery, take medications for atrial fibrillation, currently or any cancer treatments, cancer within the last six months, or take any immunosuppression medication please bring documentation from the provider stating that you may take the vaccine.
