DOH-Lake Vital Statistic Office to Reopen July 8th, 2024
Eustis, Fla. –The Florida Department of Health in Lake County (DOH-Lake) Vital Statistic Office located at 16140 US Highway 441, Eustis, FL, will reopen on Monday, July 8th, 2024. The office will resume services with regular scheduled hours of Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. As a reminder, we have two additional office locations with the same hours of operations: • DOH-Lake Leesburg 2113 Griffin Road, Leesburg, FL • DOH-Lake Clermont 875 Oakley Seaver Drive, Clermont, FL
FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH IN LAKE COUNTY PROVIDING LIFESAVING NALOXONE TO REDUCE SUBSTANCE ABUSE DEATHS
Eustis, Fla.– The Florida Department of Health in Lake County (DOH-Lake) is announcing the availability of free Naloxone (Narcan) Nasal Spray kits. This lifesaving medication could reduce thousands of substance abuse deaths across the state. Naloxone is available to people who use drugs, people with a history of drug use, others at risk of experiencing an overdose, friends, family members, and others who may witness an overdose. Kits consist of two Naloxone nasal sprays that are administered even without a health care professional present.

DOH-Lake Issues Blue-Green Algae Health Alert for Lake Yale - Northwest of Lake Center
Eustis, Fla. – The Florida Department of Health in Lake County (DOH-Lake) has issued a health alert for the presence of harmful blue-green algae toxins in Lake Yale - Northwest of Lake Center. The alert is in response to a water sample taken on July 17, 2024. The public should exercise caution in and around Lake Yale- Northwest of Lake Center.
