The 26th Annual Baby Fair “An Event for First Time Parents”
 

Lake County – The 26th Annual Baby Fair: “An Event for First Time Parents” is scheduled at the following locations:
 
Saturday, May 16th, 2015
Program begins at 1:00 PM
The Father’s House
2301 South Street, Leesburg
 
Saturday, June 6th, 2015
Program begins at 2:00 PM
Eustis Community Center
601 Northshore Drive, Eustis
 
New parents will have an opportunity to learn about child safety, early learning, positive parenting and healthy lifestyles at three upcoming events.  The 26th Annual Baby Fairs are open to first-time or special needs parents, including women who are currently pregnant and parents of newborns.  The events include an educational program and the opportunity to visit informational booth from local agencies and non-profit organizations.  Pre-registration is not required and there is no cost for the event.
 
The Young Families Health Initiative Committee of Lake County is coordinating the events Cooperating agencies include:  Florida Department of Health in Lake County, Early Learning Coalition, Healthy Families, and Kids Central, Inc. Major sponsors include: Nemours Children’s Primary Care Clermont, Staywell, Central Florida Health Alliance Leesburg Regional Medical Center, South Lake Hospital/Orlando Health, Leesburg Noon Kiwanis Club, Leesburg Noon, Lady Lake and Clermont Kiwanis Clubs.   The mission of the Young Families Health Initiative Committee is to have a positive effect on the lives of Lake County families through pre-natal and post-natal education.
