FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH IN LAKE COUNTY LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS

Lake County The Florida Department of Health in Lake County is looking for volunteers for a variety of roles:

You don’t have to be a medical professional to make a difference at the Department of Health!

  •  You could become a Public Health Ambassador - learn about what the department does and then participate in outreach events around the county to educate your fellow community members.
  • Are you interested in app development and technology? You could help us develop an app.
  • Interested in tracking diseases? We have opportunities to participate in data entry and analysis of disease patterns.
  • We also need help with marketing, outreach, partnership development, quality improvement, and many other areas.

If you want to help out, we have a spot for you. Time commitments, schedules, and roles are flexible. We want to work with you to better our communities and improve the health of Lake County.

For more information on how to get involved contact Megan Milanese, Volunteer Services Specialist at 352-272-8678 or Megan.Milanese@flhealth.gov.
