We are Looking for Volunteers to Get Involved In Our Work

Eustis, FL The Florida Department of Health in Lake County is looking for volunteers for a variety of roles:

You don’t have to be a medical professional to make a difference at the Department of Health!

  • Are you interested in enhancing your clerical skills? Activities include learning clerical and administrative duties.
  • Are you interested in app development and technology? You could help us develop an app.
  • Interested in tracking diseases? We have opportunities to participate in data entry and analysis of disease patterns.
  • You could become a Public Health Ambassador - learn about what the department does and then participate in outreach events around the county to educate your fellow community members.
  • We also need help with marketing, community health focus, partnership development, quality improvement, and many other areas.

If you want to help out, we have a spot for you. Time commitments, schedules, and roles are flexible. We want to work with you to better our communities and improve the health of Lake County.

For more information on how to get involved contact Lillian Rodriguez, Volunteer Services Coordinator at 352-483-7983 or lillian.rodriguez@flhealth.gov.
