Florida Department of Health in Lake County Welcomes Dr. Linnell to the Clermont Health Center

Lake County– The Florida Department of Health in Lake County welcomes new Senior Dentist Dr. Richard Linnell to the Clermont Health Center.  

Dr. Linnell began his career in public health dentistry in 1984 at the Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County. He moved with his family to Grand Junction, Colorado in 1999 where he worked in a non-profit clinic for about five years. He returned to Palm Beach County where he worked in his former position until June of this year, when he made the move to Clermont.

Dr. Linnell received his DMD degree from the University of Florida after earning his bachelor’s degree at Florida State University, where he studied marine biology. He and his wife Lisa have been married for 28 years and have two grown children, Erica and Andy.

The Clermont Health Center offers Dental Services for children in our community along with the following services:

• Adult, Pediatric and travel immunizations
• Birth & Death Certificates.
• STI Assessment Testing every second and fourth Wednesday of the month from 9am-3pm.
• Breastfeeding Support Group open to the public the fourth Tuesday of every month from 10am-12pm.

We accept the following insurances:  Medicaid, Medicaid HMO’s, MediPass and DentaQuest.
