Florida has been heavily impacted by the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The state continues to rank third in the nation in the cumulative number of AIDS cases and second in the nation in the cumulative number of HIV cases.
DOH-Lake provides sexually transmitted disease testing, case management, counseling, and treatment services are provided. Confidential HIV/AIDS testing and treatment, HIV nutritional counseling, prescription medications, and other health care items are also available.

This team works to develop community partnerships to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Please contact our outreach team to discuss community training opportunities or community outreach events.
The Specialty Care Clinic provides services and treatment for prevention and people living with HIV/AIDS. Services include:
- Confidential testing
- Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP)
- HIV/AIDS treatment and counseling
- Prescription assistance through the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP)
- Surveillance and partner notification
